Your account

Delete your account

You can delete your YourLegal.app account and data at any time, from the app or by email.

In the app

  1. Open YourLegal.app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account, then confirm.

This permanently removes your login and your access to the app. It cannot be undone.

Without the app

Email hello@yourlegal.app from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We will confirm it's you, delete your account, and reply within 30 days.

What happens to your data

  • Your login and your access to the app are removed right away.
  • We're notified, review the information you saved, and delete what we're not required to keep.
  • Reports you already sent may be kept by YourLegal and by any attorney who received them, as their legal obligations require.
  • Want everything else deleted? Email us and we'll confirm what was removed, or tell you if any exception applies.
